I have the unique opportunity of working closely with all of our talented, caring, and fantastic staff.  We take great pride in our commitment to work together to create a learning environment that strives for excellence and always puts children first. 

Our belief at Highland Park Elementary is to first touch the heart in order to teach the mind.  We are committed to building strong character and are passionate about creating a school where every child is valued, respected, and given opportunities for life-long success.

Collaborative planning is the key to our success at HP Elementary.  We encourage our parents to take an active role in their child's education and to work hand in hand with the staff to review and analyze their child's performance data. Using those results, plan with us as a team in order to provide an appropriate instructional program for each child.  HP Elementary continues to foster family and community involvement.  We welcome your concerns and invite your comments and communication with the teachers as well as the administration.  If you are interested in volunteering or serving on one or more committees please contact the school at 806-335-1334.
