This is a mental health psychiatric center for ages 4-17. They
will also make referrals for drug rehabilitation assessments through NWTH
Emergency Room..

This is a center that provides education, child care, and counseling
services and groups to families on a sliding scale. They have licensed
counselors that help with anger management, domestic violence, marital
relationships, divorce, abuse, marriage problems, etc. (24 hr.
crisis line is 374-5433).

Services for adults, older adults, adolescents, and children.
They assist with serious & persistent illnesses, substance abuse, mood
disorders, depression, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, etc. They also
provide after-care services. Medicaid, CHIP and most insurance. No
one will be turned away. If it is an emergency, you can be admitted
through the emergency center at NWTH.

Counselors are on call 24 hrs. a day to answer the phone to professionals and
parents that have mental health concerns. This counselor will listen,
take information and make referral information regarding the concerned person.

This is a faith-based organization that offers counseling, groups and support
to families. They work on a sliding scale and take most types of
insurance. They have licensed counselors that will work with anger,
divorce, marriage and family problems, stress related problems, etc. The
center also offers educational programs for civic and church groups to help
individuals and families cope effectively with life challenges. They also
conduct training programs and clinical supervision for mental health
professionals. The inter-denominational Pastoral Counseling Service offers a
team of trained and experienced professional counselors qualified to assess
problems, explore solutions, and offer a framework for personal and spiritual
growth. The central office in Amarillo is open 8am-5pm Monday through
Friday with some evening appointments available.
Suicide & Crisis Line: 359-6699
This can be a number to talk to someone (24 hrs) or to get referral information
for other places/situations. They offer a wide variety of services in
addition to referral and assessment, which include stress management
classes for adolescents, substance abuse/suicide prevention and community education.

This place will provide assessments to both children and adults. Based on
the outcome, services will be provided there or they will contract services
out. They can be medical or mental health needs. They work on a
sliding scale.

This is a program available for students ages 7-17 who need outside counseling. No CPS open file and no criminal record on children. They take at-risk students. (Ms. Vejcik can also referral you to this program, if you are interested you can talk with her too)

Provides professional counseling services for adults, families and children. Counseling services at Wesley are available Monday - Thursday from 8:30 am. to 7 pm. They have Spanish speaking counselors and Sign Language counselors.
