Thursday, March 11^th, 2010

Spring Break will be March 15^th – 19^th.  Have a great time and be safe. 

Celebrate spring break by wearing your favorite hat this Friday March 12, or have the MS Multicultural Club make a hat for you!  Pay $1 to an MCC member or come by room 207 after breakfast.

Middle school 4th 6 weeks awards program will be Friday the 12^th starting at 11:27.

March 24^th will be delayed start.  School and busses will be 1 hour late.  

Varsity/JV Track- March 12^th the varsity & JV track teams will be competing in the Vega relays in Vega.

Junior High Track- March 11^th the JH track team will be competing in the Vega relays in Vega.

Golf Team-March 10^th the HP golf team will compete in the HP Tournament at Comanche Trail golf course.  

Tennis Team-10^th the HP Tennis team will compete in the Panhandle Tennis Tournament in Borger.  

Coffee Memorial Blood Center will be at Highland Park March 11^th from 11:00am-4:00pm in the High School Commons.  Stop by and give the chance of life to someone.  You may also call Mrs. Detten for an appointment time at 335-2821 ext. 114. 

Coronation Proofs are available for viewing at www.bluncks.com.  Choose the "Order Online" at the top of the page and then choose "Online Proofs".  Scroll down and you will see "Highland Park High School Dance 2-19-10" and click on that.  It will ask for a password and that is hornets. 

Yearbooks are still on sale for the low price of $40.00.  This is our discounted price for ordering before the yearbooks arrive.  Once they arrive, the price will be $45.00.  Please see Mrs. Matheson in Room 111 to purchase your yearbook.

The High School UIL Calculator Applications team will be meeting every Tuesday morning at 7:30 in Mr. Prestwood’s room (118).  Everyone interested in trying out for the team should talk to Mr. Prestwood.  The team is open for all 9th – 12th graders.  Last year, our team won 1st in District competition and we expect high results this year.  Come join the fun.
