Highland Park ISD percentages of teachers who are Highly Qualified on all core subjects they teach for the 2007-2008 school year are:
District—90% Highly Qualified Teachers
Elementary—100% Highly Qualified Teachers
Middle School—90% Highly Qualified Teachers
High School—90% Highly Qualified Teachers
District/Campuses Paraprofessionals—100% Highly Qualified
For this school year, District Highly Qualified Plans are currently in place to increase these percentages this school year and in the 2008-2009 school year.
