About the Teacher
This is my 6th year of teaching. All my years of experience have been at Highland Park. My first year of teaching was in the 3rd grade. The next year, I moved up with those students to 4th grade. I graduated from Western Oklahoma State College with an Associates degree in Psychology. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from West Texas A & M University, with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies. My goal is to eventually start my master's degree.
I have been married for ten years. We do not have any children yet, but plan to. Right now, our "children" are two Siberian Husky females, Nakita and Sascha.
My favorite things to do are to spend time with my husband, family, and my two dogs. I also enjoy going to the movies, reading, surfing the Internet, and of course, watching the Dallas Mavericks play basketball! I prefer live, but have to settle for the TV most of the time. My favorite player is Dirk Nowitzki!
