At Highland Park children are encouraged to explore and manipulate the classroom through centers; becoming independent, responsible, and confident learners. They gain knowledge and skills in language, literacy, social relations, music and movement, classification, numbers, and time.
Personal Mission Statement
To create a safe, secure classroom where children feel important, wanted, loved, and can freely express their opinions. To create a love of learning, especially reading, that will produce life long learners, self-assured that knowledge is the key to success.
