Leaping into the World of Learning

My name is Tallene Owen.
I am a Pre-K Assistant and very excited about the
school year! I am enthusiastic about meeting the children who
will be entering into our Pre-K program for the 2006-2007 school
year here at Highland Park, in Amarillo, Tx.. 
My Summer Vacation
The children entering our program are very special and loved by each and every member of our staff. Placing our parents and children at ease is the first goal I have as an Assistant. It is important for every parent and child to feel special and safe in our program, in order, to develop a learning atmosphere.
The children will be learning the importance of our alphabet
,the valuable asset of using numbers and many other objectives throughout the school year. Enthusiastic teachers develop the enthusiasm of the students. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of our students.
