The 2005-2006 school year is almost here! I hope you are looking forward to it as much as I am! This will be my first year here at HP after six years of teaching in another local district, and I believe it's going to be a great one! I am looking forward to getting to know you and working with you.
To help you get to know me a little better:
I have been married for almost 27 years to my husband, Ron, and we have three grown daughters. Two of our girls are married and living in Moore, OK., and our youngest daughter just moved there in June. I have one extremely adorable two year old grandson of whom you will see pictures on my desk, and I have one not-as-adorable and annoyingly noisy Miniature Schnauzer named Misty!
I will be teaching English and Reading, both of which are not only crucial for life, but are also exciting to learn. Writing sentences, paragraphs, stories, and essays will allow you to be creative and expressive. Reading will take you places, allow you to meet new people, and stretch your imagination. Learning can indeed be very fun, and in my classroom I hope you will find it so.
