HPISD Parents

Thank you for being patient with us during this difficult time. As of today, March 19th, Governor Abbott has closed school until April 3rd. Instruction will be handled remotely until such time we can all go back to school safely. You will hear from your child’s teacher by Wednesday of next week with more information.  HPISD will provide meals for ALL students, free of charge, beginning Monday, March 23rd. Meals will be available through a pick-up line in front of the cafeteria. Food will be provided from 10:00am - 12:00pm Monday-Friday. Breakfast and lunch for each student will be brought to each vehicle. Please remain in your vehicle and someone will be there to assist you and your family. The ONLY stipulation is that the student requiring the meal must be in the vehicle. For example, if you come by needing four students’ meals, you must have four students in the vehicle with you.  All extracurricular activities have been suspended by the UIL through May 4th.


Please take care of yourself and HPISD will do everything we can to support the educational and nutritional needs of our students.
