Starting with the 2025–26 school year, a new Texas law will require all students to keep personal communication devices off, out of sight, and unused during the school day - including lunch and passing periods.
This includes:
📱 Cell phones
⌚ Smartwatches
💻 Tablets & personal laptops
🎧 Earbuds, headphones, and Bluetooth-enabled devices
We encourage families to start talking with students now about what this will look like during the school day. Thank you for partnering with us!
