All six students traveled to Austin this past weekend to compete with the finest high school instrumental soloists in the state of Texas!
All of them represented HP and themselves on the highest level and brought home the following UIL State medals!

After six years of service to the Highland Park ISD Board of Trustees, Jennifer Sanchez has resigned her position. Members of the board presented her with a plaque in recognition of her dedicated service
The HP High School Band program kicks off each year with Summer Band! Summer Band is when new members learn to march, new student leaders assume their roles and our team takes the field for the first time learning our competitive field show!
Marching Band is a UIL varsity group and Summer Band is required for varsity status.
Our first night on July 23rd is for all 9th graders, percussionists, color guard and anyone who is new to marching band only. July 27th on is for EVERYONE.
