The 2024 Highland Park Hornet Band competed at UIL Region 1 Marching Contest on Saturday, held at Dick Bivin’s Stadium. For the 4th year straight, the Hornet Band earned a perfect 1st division rating, receiving three 1’s from all three judges!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 HP advances to the UIL Area A Marching Contest, held on November 2nd in Abilene for a shot to become an Area finalist and then a possible State Marching Contest appearance. The climb continues!!💪🏻🏔️🧗🏼‍♂️
