Highland Park Stadium Rules We appreciate your support and attendance at our games. We wish to create an environment in which all who attend may enjoy the game. We also want to ensure the safety of our guests by implementing the following guidelines: ● Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. ● Students can not be dropped off and left at the game without an adult present. If unsupervised, parents will be contacted. ● Students must be seated in the stands unless attending the concession or the restrooms. No running around or loitering is permitted. ● Elementary school students are expected to sit with their parents at all times. ● Students are prohibited from congregating by the concession stand or behind the bleachers. ● Middle school students are required to sit either with their parents or in the middle school section of the stadium. There is a student section for MS and HS students if your child chooses to sit there. ● No food, candy, gum, or sunflower seeds allowed on the turf or track surfaces. ● Alcohol, smoking and tobacco are prohibited. ● No pets or animals allowed. ● Frisbees, balls, bats, etc. are not allowed into the stadium during games. If found, it will be picked by the administration. ● No glass containers Failure to follow these guidelines or loitering by students may result in removal from the stadium and at a minimum the student will not be allowed to attend any further high school football games for the season. As always, student safety at all UIL events is of prime importance to HPISD. Football is a spectator sport and all students attending the game are expected to sit and watch the game. These measures will more effectively ensure the enjoyment of all persons attending varsity football events hosted by HPISD.

HP Football this week: All games on Thursday will be in Gruver (7th grade - 5pm, 8th grade - 6pm, JV - 7:30pm) Varsity vs Gruver will be at home this Friday at 7pm. Let's travel well for our sub varsity teams and pack the house on Friday!!!! -Coach Stout

JV volleyball girls worked extremely hard and fought through two days of constant games to come out undefeated and Tournament champs. Way to go Lady Hornets!

Football schedule update- Middle school will play one game at 5 pm on Thursday at Highland Park. JV was not able to pick up a game so they will be taking the week off. Varsity will play on Friday in Shamrock at 7pm. Come out and support your hornets! -Coach Stout

Attention: Picture Day is on Wednesday, September 6 for ALL campuses. Photo order forms will go home with your child this week. Seniors will not receive an order form in advance. They will have the opportunity to order senior pictures after they have viewed their proofs. For questions, email rikki.farquer@hpisd.net.

Elementary Parents, We have heard your concerns about the Elementary dismissal. Starting today we are trying something different. If your child is in Pre-K, Kinder, 1st , or 2nd grade please continue to pick them up in front of the Elementary office. 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade will dismiss on the East side of the building (at door 16). Please see the map provided. If you are picking up children in multiple grades, the older children will be allowed to join the younger grades at the Elementary. If this is a need for your family, please let your child's teacher know ASAP. As with anything new, we know there may be a few adjustments but we ask that you be patient and understanding. Please direct all questions or concerns to the Elementary office at 806-335-1334 and not our staff working the dismissal line. Again, thank you for your patience.
