Dear Highland Park ISD Family,
As the new school year approaches, we want to make sure you have all the information you need to ensure a smooth start for your child. Here are a few important reminders:
First Day of School: Wednesday, Aug. 23rd
REGISTRATION: Remember, your child's seat is not reserved until you complete the registration process. All new students will need to register during our in-person registration. If you are unsure about any required documents, please call 806-335-2823 or stop by during our registration hours. In-Person registration will be in Cafeteria on:
August 1st 3:00pm-7:00pm
August 2nd 8:00am-12:00pm
TRANSPORTATION: Don't forget to register your student for bus transportation! The deadline is fast approaching - Register by Aug. 15th to guarantee your student will have a ride on the first day of school. Here is the link to request transportation:

Now Hiring 2023-2024
EOC scores are now available in the Texas Assessment Parent Portal. To access the Portal, click this link:

Next, enter the Unique Student Access Code and enter the Student's Date of Birth. If you do not know the Unique Student Access Code, click on "How do I look up my access code?" Located in the More Login Information blue box. Enter the student's First Name, enter the student's Social Security Number, and Birth Date in order to access your child's EOC scores.

STAAR results will be available in the Family Portal for EOC (High School) on June 30th. 3rd - 8th grade will be available on Aug. 16th. These dates are set by TEA, not the district. Your child's results are being reported later this year compared to previous years. If you received a notification with your portal access code, please save it for the dates listed above. The existing information in the Family Portal is from previous years. If you need your access code, please email susan.looney@hpisd.net.
