The varsity girls 4x200m relay team broke the school record this afternoon at the Panhandle Relays with a time of 1:51.33. Great job ladies!!
The HPISD Board of Trustees attended training at the Region 16 ESC where they won a $500 scholarship to be awarded to a 2026 graduate. The scholarship was one of six provided by Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins, and Mott LLP

Attention students, parents, and staff! To ensure we meet our required instructional minutes for the year, we have a few updates regarding our upcoming schedule:
🕒 April 3rd: Now a Full Day
April 3rd was originally scheduled as an Early Release Day. It has been converted to a full day of school to make up for previously missed time.
❄️ Weather Makeup Days
As of right now, we do not need to use our scheduled Inclement Weather Days on:
April 6th
May 4th
Note: These dates will remain student/staff holidays unless we experience another school closure before then. We will keep you posted if anything changes!

Our Lady Hornet track team also had a great showing at the Amarillo Relays! Way to go, girls!

After 4 days of track meets, Amarillo relays is in the books! This was a huge meet with over 2,300 competitors. All of our kids competed hard and represented our school in a big way. To finish top 6 and score points is quite an accomplishmentand to win a medal is a huge achievement!

Another big district win by your lady hornets softball team! This win over Sunray puts them in 2nd place in their district. Kaitlin Lucas had 17 strikeouts and Haley Rodger’s had 7 RBIs and 2 triples. Keep up the great work girls! GO HORNETS!!!
