Congratulations to our 7/8 Highland Park Middle School Wind Ensemble who captured a 1st Division 🥇 (Superior) rating in sight reading, and 2nd Division 🥈(Excellent) rating on stage at UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
These middle school band members have worked hard to prepare thier concert program since the beginning of the Spring semester and have been committed to developing their sight reading and general musicianship daily! Hard work pays off at every level!

The softball game in Sunray tonight has been rescheduled for April 18th. Come out and see our softball and baseball kiddos at HP at 4pm!
Shout out to the MS track teams! Our 7th and 8th grade boys and girls competed hard at the Panhandle Junior High Relays tonight and put on a show! Both 7th and 8th grade girls got 1st place as a team and the 7th and 8th grade boys got 2nd as a team. This MS group is something special! Come watch them compete next Saturday as they travel to Wellington for their district meet.

HPISD will have a Ribbon Cutting for our new Softball and Baseball Fields Friday, March 28th @ 4:00pm. Ruckus from the Sod Poodles will also be here to throw the first pitch. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

The Highland Park Varsity Lady Hornets earned their first district victory with a dominant 15-2 win over Follett on Tuesday. Kaitlin Lucas powered the offense, smashing two home runs, including a grand slam, and driving in six runs.
The Lady Hornets will travel to Sunray on Friday for their next district matchup.
