Congratulations to HP Band Members Justin Cotton (12) and Rodney Ingersoll (11) who both won chairs in the TMEA All-Region Jazz Ensemble.
All Region Jazz Band is made up of the finest high school jazz musicians in the entire TX panhandle and includes students from all school classifications, (1A thru 5A). Rodney and Justin were the only students selected from a 1A or 2A school high school.
Extra special congrats to Justin Cotton who accomplished the rare achievement of being selected for All Region Jazz Band ALL FOUR YEARS of high school. The first HP student to ever do so!

Due to late starts, early releases, and cancellations, we will need to use one of our weather days to make up for lost time. Our calendar includes two weather days, April 21 and May 5. If we miss more school due to weather or other issues, we may need to use both days, so please plan accordingly.
For now, we plan to use May 5th as a school day. We’ll update you if we need to use the April date as well.
